Revlon Hypnotic

I popped into my local Walgreen’s looking for some limited edition Sinful Colors. I found most of them but there are still a few I haven’t been able to find. While I was there I spotted a huge Revlon display with some new permanent polishes. Four of them caught my eye and I have one of them to show you today.

Hypnotic is new from Revlon Spring 2016 Collection but will become one of their core colors. When thinking about jewel tones I always think of the fall so when I spotted this color in the collection I was surprised to see it but also very drawn to it.

The first coat went on a little streaky but smoothed out beautifully with the second coat. Just two coats to opaque perfection.

At a recent local polish swap I was able to get my hands on a Sally Hansen Chrome polish in Canary Diamond Chrome. A little polish thinner brought this prehistoric gem back to life. I am thrilled to add this polish to my collection. Just one coat and it was opaque.

I decided to draw the Revlon and SH Chrome polishes together by topping the silvery chrome with Native War Paints We’re All Misfits. This mini bottle was apart of the December 2015 subscription box. This box was all about Misfit Toys. This polish is not one to be opaque but makes a great topper.
