It’s time to start blogging again. Every time I create an IG post I think about it. So much to say and IG just wasn’t the place to get it all out.
Today, I want to talk about China Glaze Crown For Whatever from the Happily Never After Halloween 2017 collection. I picked up the mini set to see which ones I wanted to pick in a full size.
CFW was a huge surprise for me. I was not expecting a matte polish and even thought something was wrong with the polish when I first applied it. Clumpy and streaky with some strokes applying a nice first coat and other strokes applying blobs of polish. It wasn’t until I applied the second coat that everything settled nicely. After the second coat I had a lot of cuticle cleanup but no staining. I added a glossy topcoat since I knew I was going to be stamping over the polish.
For stamping I used Born Pretty plate BM-75 and Mundo de Unas stamping polish in 1 White.
Overall, this is an ok polish. I wouldn’t go out and buy the full bottle but if I found it on clearance I may pick it up. I do like the blurple color but it’s so deep in color that only in good lighting and sunlight do you notice the shimmer running through it.
